Dogs love to play. Presenting dogs with toys to play with is important to ensure the health and well-being of your family pet. Toys are not a luxury for your dog, but rather a requirement. Playtime is an essential element of their emotional and mental health. Behavioral problems, such as gnawing on objects, can arise when your dog lacks the correct outlets to follow their instinct.
Getting your dog a toy is a great way to help prevent boredom when you are not in your home and stop your dog from developing behavioral issues. Dogs are typically going to have fun with just about anything. However, it's suggested to provide toys that provide a range of uses and to rotate them weekly to try to keep things safe and intriguing. Educating dogs to discern their toys from their humans possessions can prevent them from chewing on things they should not.
How to select dog toys:
Dog toys should be safe, fun, and sturdy. Your option for the toys depends on the age, size, and activity level of your pet. The ideal time to present toys into your dog's daily life is when they are puppies to help them develop their teeth, muscle mass, and joints. Provide puppies with toys to chew on, go after, bite, and pull as one way of aiding them in flourishing. Puppies with baby teeth will need toys with a softer texture.
Another important element when purchasing dog toys is the size of the toy relative to the size of your dog. Too little of a toy is particularly unsafe with the risk of swallowing and choking. The toy you select for your dog should be appropriate for your dogs present size. Choosing the best dog toy will ensure both a safe and enjoyable playtime. Safety needs to always come first, followed by excitement when selecting toys for your dog.
It's important to keep an eye on your dog while they have fun with their toys. Visually inspect their toys periodically to check that it has not been harmed to present a danger of choking. Switch out any toy that is broken.

Friendly everytime we came in and always had what we needed!
Wish there were more Montana-made goods, but the staff is remarkably friendly and store is well stocked!
This place is so cute! Had to stop in to get to some Musher's and nail clippers for my dog but I wish I had more time to really peruse the store. Sometimes with specialty pet shops the prices will be really hiked up, but not hear. I got Mushers for $1 more than the price on Amazon and I'm happy to support local for $1 more.
Walked in needing a treat for my dog to keep her occupied. Staff was very friendly and helpful!
The workers are so nice, it's a very clean store, I used the self dog wash for the first time and it was super simple! I like their selection of toys, I got a shark toy and my dog LOVES it 😀 I Would definitely recommend 😊😊 I've been there twice and both times it was a great experience!
